You don’t need any formal qualifications to become a courier driver, but you do need to have your full UK driving licence. We also expect our drivers to be highly efficient and professional.

As a courier, you also need access to a reliable delivery vehicle. Addison Lee has a fleet of vans less than 4 years old available for free rental by drivers. Our couriers receive ongoing backroom support throughout their jobs and don’t pay any Congestion Zone fees.

How Long Does an Addison Lee Courier Work?

Our drivers have the flexibility to set their own hours. (Note that the UK’s daily driving limit states you can’t drive for more than 10 hours a day.)
